I love irl shopping as well

Today I went with a friend of mine to Sortland, the nearest "city". It's small but bigger than here so yeah. Anyway, I wasn't really in the mood for buying anything, but I ended up with some stuff anyway.

A purse from Cubus(I totally fell in love with it, it's so CUTE! And cheap xD)
Mascara from H&M(Maybelline I think?). I already have that one but it's almost empty. It's not really that good either, but it works. I hate my eyelashes.
And at last, earrings from BikBok. White peace-signs. They're awesome, and looks good with my black hair :).

And I have to add, riding Isak today was AMAZING! Talk about improvement between us! I love that horse <3.

One of my moments

I have no idea what happened, but suddenly I was cleaning. Without anyone asking! I bet my mom would wish I had these kind off weird moments more often.

Okay, last night I finished a movie review of Matilda(by Roald Dahl). I had been delaying it for weeks. And then me and my best friend found more facts about the Jews under the second world war. Honestly I think it's an interesting subject! It's for this project in school about jews, and everyone else is writing about what they eat, holidays, and their religion in general. Boring! (I didn't say boring to offend anyone, it's just that I'm not a big fan of religions..)

And oh, we're finally finished with the Norwegian(subject) project, where my best friend and I got another interesting subject, about witches and the witchexecutions in earlier times. I was SOO nervous when we were going to show what we had done and talk(*cough*read) about it. I was shaking after we were done. But! We got a better grade on it then the rest of the class :D (What would I do without her amazing writing ability?!)

I'm going to the club later tonight. Haven't been there for AGES.

Have fun all! ^^

Outfit!

One thing I've noticed has become popular on blogs, is that people add a picture of what they're wearing that day. And I must say, it's a pretty damn awesome thing to do!
That is why I thought I would do the same.

But first, I'd like to show some pictures I took when I was at my grandparents place in Lavangen. It's really just three pictures of the same thing, but I can't decide which one I prefer.
The sky up here amaze me sometimes!

And oh, that outfit. Here you go (;

Guilty pleasures and two of my dearest

Just to have it said, I seriously recommend http://www.lookbook.nu/, its a great side for people who likes clothes and fashion. And not only the plain, boring kind! So check it out.

I seriously have a soft spot for disneymovies and singers! The movies are sooo clichè and stuff, I know, but still. It's embarassing to even mention this.

Didn't I say that I was gonna tell you about Isak and Jacson, the two amazing horses I take care of sometimes? Anyway, here's a presentation about both of them, with pictures of course!

Jacson
The oldest daughter(11 years old) of the stables owner owns Jacson. He is a small(134 cm.) Danish sportspony, and he's about 10 years old. He is a tad too little for me, but not that much. He is good at both dressage and jumping, but he is best at jumping.

He's not a horse you can "mess around with" or stuff like that, you have to be calm. Because if not he starts stressing and gets nervous. Jacson is a very charming little horse!

Isak
And then we have Isak, he's the same age as me(13), and a Norwegian fjordhorse. He's the nicest horse ever. He reminds me of my old favourite horse, Sonita, who had something wrong about a hoof/leg, so she's not with us anymore. Isak is a typical school-horse(I honestly have NO idea what it's called in English, sorry). He is the BEST to ride in the forest.

He's not as jumpy or nervous as Jacson can be at times either, and everyone can ride him.

None of these two are in any way mine, they're just the ones I take more care off than the other ones on the stable ;)

Hanging around and meeting new people

I've just been outside all day, except when I went to the nearest grocery shop. And tonight of course. Lene, a friend I haven't seen in AGES(1 year perhaps?), and her friend Linn, and I decided to go to this club-thingy for everyone under.. I dont know.. 18? Or something. It was fun. I never knew Lavangen had some cool kids as well.

And I also got to know Maria a bit better. I met her in Luleå in Sweden last summer. Heheh, we didn't even talk to each other. But today we did, and just to have it said, she is awesome!

I, of course, was the youngest of the people we hung out with(but not the shortest, thankfully! xD). As usual. But it's okay though. :)

Oh and, there was this dude, he kinda ran into a door of glass.. The door broke into pieces, and he got a few bruises and cuts, and had to get five stitches. Drama!

But it was fun to meet all of them and stuff :).

Author portrait and buses!

I've been sitting on a bus three or four hours today. It didn't feel as long as it usually would. There aren't that many people on it on Thursdays either. But it was boring of course. Got a new headset for my iPod because.. Well, I dont know where I put my other ones. Typical. :p

The reason as to why I've been on a bus today, is that my little sister and I were going to our grandparents, because our parents are going to the capital(Oslo).

My best friend, Anne Berit, took care of Jacson for me today (: Jacson is a horse, for your information. Maybe I should tell you about him and Isak in a later blog!

I thought, to fill the blog out a bit, that I would add the author review a friend and I have been working on for English class. We could choose between Roald Dahl and C. S. Lewis. We chose the latter one. I dont know, maybe it's a bit messy. But you cant expect too much for two thirteen years old Norwegian girls! :p

By Maria and Mette
Clive Staples Lewis ( C.S. Lewis ) was born in 1898 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He was the author of many books, but he was most famous for the chronicles of Narnia.

He had a three years older brother who was named Warren Hamilton Lewis. His parents’ names was Florence Augusta Lewis Hamilton, shortened to Flora, and his fathers name was Albert James Lewis. His mother Florence died on his fathers birthday because of cancer.

Clive Staples Lewis was raised as a christian, but as the years went on he became an atheist. He did not convert because he didn’t believe in God, it was rather because of his anger against God because of all the injustice in the world. He was always very interested in fantasy and to be able to use his imagination as he wanted. He tried out different forms of art. Opera and poetry for instance. He was very interested in Norse mythology.

He went to school in Oxford, and at the age of seventeen he was sent to the British army.
In the army he went to France to fight for his country, and that’s where we met Paddy More, another Irish man. They were roommates and became really good friends. They made a deal that if one of them died in a war, the remaining one would take care and live with the other mans family.

A few years later, Paddy died in a battle in France, and Clive held his promise.
He moved in with Paddy’s mother(Janie More) and sister(Maureen More).

But Clive had also gotten hurt in one of the battle’s, and was suffering from a depression.

As Paddy’s sister grew older, she went away for school, a bit after her mother had passed away. Clive started working at a school, where he tutored in English language and literature.
For about thirty years he tutored at the Magdalen College in Oxford.

He married Joy Gresham, a American author who he admired deeply. But the happiness fell short, she later died because of bone cancer.

Clive Staples Lewis died in the home he shared with his brother the 22nd November in 1963, a week before his 65th birthday. The news about his death got overshadowed by John F. Kennedy’s death that happened the very same day.

What do you think? Honestly.

Movie and stuff

We're celebrating my dad's birthday with a dinner and dessert here. My uncle and aunt, an my cousin are here, together with my grandma and grandpa. I dont like dinners like this. It makes me uncomfortable xD.

So anyway, I'm watching The school of rock with my cousin and my little sister right now. Funny movie :p.

Later I'm going to see Max Manus, with my mom and two of her friends. Let me see if I can find a review about it, and I'll translate it. Damn, the review was long, so I'm just gonna use the first part.

"The movie is built on the real story about a man called Max(imus) Manus(1914-1996), soldier
in the Company Linge in the free norwegian forces and later saboteur in Norway in the second world war 1940-1945."

(Translating really is not my thing!)

One of my friends, Emilie is going to see it too, and I haven't seen her in forever. (:

On thursday I'm going with my little sister to our grandparents(on my mom's side). I really love that place! Even though the place is even smaller than here. I want to move there when I've grown old(70 years maybe? xD). But yeah, I'm good at making plans and not actually go through with them. Anyway, I think I'll ask them if we can go to a town called Narvik, it's a bit bigger(mall's and such). Then I can meet Martine, who I've never really met, but I've talked to her a lot on msn.

I feel like I've just written crap right now. I promise, the next blog will be better :p. And I'm thinking of doing that outfit-thing where you add what you're wearing(picture) in some of the blogs, just for the fun's sake. :)

First post!

I despise the song Headlock by Esser. It's horrible. Sorry if you like it, but yeah, it ruins my mood.

Nice way to begin a blog, I know!
Okay, so let me introduce myself. My name is Maria, and I'm a thirteen years old girl from Norway. I've decided to make a blog and actually update it. The ones I've had before I probably updatet about.. three times(?) at the most.

I'm drinking milkshake by the way! <3
